- Colossians 2:9
- For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
- Acts 17:29
- Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
- Romans 1:20
- For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
- You will never understand the tripartite nature of the Godhead until you accept the tripartite nature of man described in scripture because Jesus was also fully man.

@Rolrod
That is heresy.
“The Son is of the Father alone, not made, nor created, but begotten” (The Athanasian Creed, verse 22).
According to the Bible, and to the ancient creeds of Christianity, the Son of God is eternal. There was never a time when He did not exist. God did not create Jesus.
John 1:1–3 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.” -

@SBF - Universities are full of people with PhD’s that try to discredit orthodox Christian beliefs. Dr. McGrath is just one of many. Surprise, surprise - he no longer believes the bible is inerrant, nor does he believe Jesus is coming back even though that is exactly what Jesus said he would do and what other scriptures clearly read.
“Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” - Acts 1: 11
McGrath is just another heretic. They had them in the first century, and we have them now.... nothing new under the sun.

Jehovah's Witnesses - Where is Your Money Going?
by Sea Breeze inafter discouraging and in many instances prohibiting jw's from getting an education, like in computer graphics, film-making and design, the wt is employing these kinds of professionals and throwing vast sums of money at their new film-making adventures doubtless from all the properties they confiscated, sold that the local members paid for.

I was surprised at the elaborate sets, costumes and props that are used. All that costs A LOT of money. Hand forging spear tips? C'mon...it's like they are bragging about how much they are spending.
It is all so confusing. In 2015 they were begging for money stating that they needed to build around 1600 new Kingdom Halls right NOW, Then, they began a big sell off of Kingdom Halls while dumping bucket loads of cash into huge film sets and production properties.
A the very least this makes them look like liars. -

Jehovah's Witnesses and Apostates
by tfjw injehovah's witnesses basically define the term "apostate" as someone who was once a member of the "organization" (a jehovah's witness) but no longer follows the teachings, rules, regulations and practices.
the society gives their official definition in the following manner: "apostasy is abandoning or deserting the worship and service of god, actually a rebellion against jehovah god.
some apostates profess to know and serve god but reject teachings or requirements set out in his word.

The blood of the covenant and forgivness of sins
by enoughisenough ini am pasting in a copy of an email i hope my friend will read...i watched a video by bridget from az and i had thoughs i had never even considered before.
this is interesting : matt 26:28 for this means my 'blood of the covenant,' which is to be poured out in behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.according to wt, the christian greek scriptures were ( see copy ) wt 74 6/15 serve with eternity in view : also, it is to the spirit-anointed christians who will rule in that kingdom that most of the christian greek scriptures is directed, including the promises of everlasting life ( pasted from wt 74 6/15).
so matt 26:28 is at the lord's evening meal where the new covenant is being initiated.

Good reasoning. Also consider:
"poured out in behalf of many" ... not few as in a little flock.
Bottom line is the new covenant is for sinners to get their sins forgiven, not government positions in heaven.

Where it all went wrong for the WT - JF Rutherford
by LoveUniHateExams ini was thinking a bit about this the other day.
ct russell, from what i remember about him, kinda seemed like a genuine, nice(ish) guy, although he had a few eccentric but harmless ideas.. during the russell era jws (actually bible students) could still celebrate christmas, worship in other churches if there was no kingdom hall available, and accept blood transfusions.. then after russell died, along came rutherford - a major league a-hole, for sure.. rutherford had plenty of eccentric ideas but at least some of them weren't/aren't harmless.
some have been long forgotten about - jesus depicted without a beard, the plan to rename the names of the week because names such as thursday (thor's day) is pagan, the articles about the 'dangers' of aluminium, etc.. one key contribution of rutherford which does a lot of harm is no blood transfusions, even in life-threatening situations.. another is shunning, something which never occurred under russell, or at least was much milder.. rutherford has a lot to answer for, i reckon ....

Lee Marsh,
Thanks for your response. Still sorting through some of the details so that I get the facts straight.
The Hippodrome affair was written about by someone who interviewed Russell. It is in one of the links I posted earlier.
